Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Chastain Park Aphitheater –    If you’ve never been, there’s nothing else like it.  There is a flat area down front where you can “buy a table” instead of just seats, but the seats are nice enough.  Bring a cooler and a tray table (and some mosquito repellent) and you will be set to chill in style.

Variety Playhouse

Red Light Cafe – Don’t let “Bluegrass Thursdays” fool you, you can also pick up jazz, rock and Americana pop.  553 Amsterdam Ave.

Fat Matt’s Rib Shack – blues – This place is so small that it would not make the venues page, but we don’t have a restaurant page and this place has THE BEST RIBS IN ATLANTA.
